Debra and I and Ben and J …
Debra and I and Ben and Jess and the girls all arrived in Kona on time. The AK flight was 35 minutes early….nice tailwind. We are sending this via wifi right in the condo, which turned out to be very nice for what we got it for. Looks like we’ll be able to do some serious cooking in the granite kitchen. Huge fridge and all the goodies to cook with. The fish made it rock hard, so the freezer is stocked. Will be in touch. Love, Pete

HEY PETE…sorry we missed the breakfast yesterday. busy weekend, and we’ll be scrambling this week to get ready for our trip thursday. the place sounds great…we’ll look forward to some pics after you’ve soaked up some sun and paradise! looks like isaac and mandi are getting hit again there…our studio partners announced grid-lock in little rock…they’re shut down till THURSDAY due to snow and ice there. ugh. nice day here, but we got another 3″ overnight…wish we were THERE! have fun, and we’ll catch some aloha when you return. l,j

Hope you are wearing a hat and have slathered on the sunscreen! Has anyone barked at you yet? Aloha!
We are surviving okay with all the snow. No serious loss of power, but things were touch-and-go over the weekend when our cable and internet were down.

Well, so far I haven’t needed the hat yet. I do have it ready for deployment, though. I did sunscreen up yesterday, as I could feel my legs beginning to crisp up a bit just walking around. We pretty much blew the day shopping for essentials. We all drove to Kona to hit the big stores. There are just tourist shops and convenience store near us. Today we’ll do something fun like visit Ben and Jess at the resort across the lawn. Should have film at eleven….
Sorry we missed you Sunday, Jack. Maybe a chance to grab coffee or breakfast on the 22nd, although I will want to be loaded up and headed for Homer fairly early in the day. That’s too far in the distant future to think about, right?
