A Thanksgiving in Homer
Many thanks to everyone that traveled to Homer. Ben, Jessica, Madeline, Makenna, and Alexa, Jack, Cheri, Jake and Sam, Lisa, Nathan, and Marina, you all made for a very special Thanksgiving for us. Jon, wish you could have joined us, but someone has to keep the base safe. I am especially thankful that you all made it home safely. So many hands made for a memorable time together and an awesome meal. Thanks to all of you, I can say that we will finish the leftovers tomorrow without anything going to waste! I have chosen the best of the photos from our two cameras, but am sure you all have some that could be added. Have a peaceful Sunday and a great week ahead. Love, Pete

pete…that’s some funny stuff! i was just posting (actually editing a just-uploaded) thanksgiving post, and after i hit publish, i went to make sure it was right. at first, i wondered what in the WORLD i’d done on my revision…none of the pictures looked right and the text looked different, too. and then i realized, our posts had hit nearly simultaneously. guess my post will suffice as a comment on yours…again, i think we all felt blessed and thankful to enjoy the day in such wonderful company. thanks again! love, jack

Nice dueling TG posts! It was fun to chat with some of you on Skype. Mandi’s really sorry she’s allergic to webcams. We had a nice Thanksgiving with friends in PA and enjoyed a layover in Philadelphia on the way back.
I may have moved your pics around a little…

Pete is grateful you move his pictures. We had a great time. It has been storming down here since everyone left and Pete hasn’t been able to get out and pull the crab pots before he pulls the boat for engine maintenance. It is howling again this morning though I can’t see anything yet.
Glad you had a good time in Pennsylvania. Tell Mandi the kids love to make faces when Skype is on. That’s the best part……..Love Mom

Guess I need a lesson in understanding how to arrange photos when there are five slots for thumbnails and only three choices for placement. Thanks for fixing it! Love, Dad

My “trick” is to always set the photo alignment to “None” because the other options all do funny things. Left and Right are for wrapping text around photos, and Center…centers each photo on a new line.

Thanksgiving sure was fun. We had an uneventful drive back. Got to see David, Jana and Brooklyn. We even went to the Peninsula Center Mall, not much in there anymore. Hope to see you all again soon. Thanks for having us.
Love, Ben, Jessica, Makenna, Madeline and Alexa.
