A Tee-licious birthday!

DSC05897ChinaTownEagleFanTeeDougSistersSouthBeach

Happy birthday, Teresa! Hope you got to sleep in, and that your day ahead is special. Sure wish I was there to help celebrate. But this virtual wish will have to do this year. I sang Happy Birthday to you this morning in the car, on the way home from the early-morning-jump-around-session, with Rebecca. I’m sure it will make a difference in how your day goes. Much love, Cheri

  • Tee, have a happy birthday. We have been collecting material for a “Grandma Jeannie Does Homer” post which will be coming to an org near you soon. Hope you have a nice cool day there….Fall should be arriving soon, eh? All the best. Love, Pete

  • Happy Birthday, Tee! I’m replacing that group shot in Cheri’s post with the original…for some reason, it doesn’t enlarge and only shows as a thumbnail. interestingly, that pic was taken after the West-East game last year just a few days after your ’08 birthday. Cheri mentioned that she wishes she was there, but since it’s still August (a month that does NOT have an “R” in it), i’ll go with…”wish you were here!”

Looking forward to the Jean-Does-Homer post, Pete. Isaac said that you guys were having fun down there…looking forward to pics. L,J

  • Happy birthday. I hope you had a wonderful day.

  • Hi Teresa! I knew Cheri would pick up the birthday post position for awhile! It’s hard. Hope you had a wonderful birthday today and enjoy a piece of cake for us.

Jeannie is here working as a Scullery Maid. I love the way she prepares things ahead of time. We put Pete’s dinner together in 15 minutes last night because he had a meeting at 6 p.m. He usually has to wait til after the meeting at 8 p.m. when I do it! It was brussel sprouts, fried rice and red salmon broiled…………I came home a little early from work and she already has carrots, beets and beet greens ready for tonight. She was surprised when just after going out to breakfast today Pete was hungry for lunch…….

  • Thanks to everyone for the thoughtful birthday wishes. It was a fabulous day filled with love of family and friends.

Debra, the Jeannie report is particularly interesting, maybe I will have the opportunity to meet her sometime. Doug could use a good short order cook that is not me. And such healthy vegtables too!

    Thanks again everyone.

    love,
    tee
