I entered all Nathan and …

I entered all Nathan and Marina’s soccer games into the google calendar. Marina plays at Woodland Park Boys and Girls Club and Nathan plays at the B&G fields at Waldron Park(off Tudor).

lisa…PERFECT! i’m kinda new to this, but it really works great. isaac did one of these for the new alaska airmen’s web site and they love it. anyhow, i linked awhile back to the wedin.org calendar…i thought that automatically updated, but i don’t see the soccer games in my iCal. will update now. anyhow, thanks for doing this! love, dad

Nice addition to the ORG calendar. I think the iCal subscription is supposed to update automatically, but it might not check for updates very often.

isaac…not sure why my calendar didn’t auto-update. i did a new sync to incorporate the soccer schedule and…it also pulled all the previous dates with it so those were doubled up. i cleaned it up, but need to check my settings (or something). j

I think I figured it out – the same thing happens in Sunbird (Mozilla’s calendar app) if you just click the calendar link. In Sunbird I had to do something convoluted, but it sounds pretty easy to get iCal to auto-refresh:

“To manually retrieve updates to a calendar to which you’ve subscribed, click the name of the calendar to select it, then choose Calendar > Refresh (or Refresh All). You can also choose to retrieve updates to the calendar automatically by choosing an item from the “auto-refresh” pop-up menu in the calendar’s Info drawer.”
