Wow, the camera on that thing works pretty well. I demand photos of it next to dad’s iBook for size reference! What do you think of it so far? Fast or slow compared to your big laptop?

  2. wedin54 Says:

those ARE nice pics…the color is great. on the org here, they’re 29kb…pics straight out of the iBook camera are 75kb. not sure that means anything…upload to the org may downsize the images automatically (or you may have pre-downsized them before uploading).

looking forward to the denali pics! sam’s friend - who did that trip on friday last week - said they had a beautiful day/drive and could see the mountain most of the trip. pretty cool.

    more soon. l,j

I think it is just as fast as my other one, it was funny because I thought the camera icon was some kind of photo program so your Dad clicked on it and there we were! I just put Picasa on and resized them through there, and it seemed to work for the org. You would probably think it is a little big - it’s bigger than your 7 inch by a ways….a 9 may have been big enough but am happy with this one. I have it near me at work.

Cool pics. Can’t wait to see the Denali pics. How did the twinkie do?

  5. Pete Says:

Oh Lisa, the Twinkie didn’t make it! The carpet was not finsihed yet (the carpet-layer was fishing) and when we calculated the fuel, we decided we could afford the lodge with the $ saved in fuel. The Escape proved to be a nimble option for the road. I can actually lay the passenger seat back and get a nap. We ate at Sheep Creek Lodge both coming and going. We ran into Bob Jagge on the porch there. His friends bought the place a couple of years ago. They have cleaned it up and improved the menu. He is all but living up there now. Yvette continues to work on her romance novels. Take care, all. Love, Pete

Thanks for the comparison shot! Has dad tried to type on it, or is he not allowed to touch it?

Sorry you couldn’t take the Twinkie, but it sounds like the Escape was a much earth-friendlier choice.
