Wow what is that! It’s absolutely beautiful and very tall.

I am happy that you are up and around. You must be to accomplish something like that!

Why it’s your delicious recipe . . . the mandarin orange cake with the pineapple whip frosting. And now I can report that it is refreshingly delicious. Yep, I’m powering around in the boot still. The foot is doing much better and so am I, now that I can get outside, ride my bike, etc. Has it been chilly down there? We’re still waiting for summer. C

That is one beautiful cake. I bet there wasn’t much leftover.

there was a “courtesy leftover” after the block party, but that got nailed as soon as we returned home! among the desserts at this year’s block party, this cake was half gone before anyone even touched the other desserts. from now on, i think we’ll call it “lake park delight.” l,j

priss…it was SO martha…it almost looked to good to BE good, eh? but, it tasted better than it looked! interestingly, it was REALLY LIGHT…very easy to cut a thick slice and hanker for another right after. yikes. l,j

lisa…thankfully, there was ONE “courtesy” left over slice from the block party, and i think it challenged the good taste (so to speak) of everyone there not to snag it. ha. l,d
