LISA…Nice Father’s Day post and great pics…a nice bookend to those wonderful Mother’s Day posts you pioneered. Hope the weather’s nice there…been a little dreary and on the cool side here. Jake’s first day of football camp was today (same one Ben went to in the mid 90’s. Cheri made a second trip out and did a Snowgoose drive-by…said it looked really nice out there. That house just around the corner of the pond from us is up for sale: $762,000. yikes. Maybe something will break on your lot this spring…seems like things are loosening up just a little, but it’s still pretty slow. More soon. I have a morning deadline, so wrapping that up now. Hugs around, Love, Dad
Hey Lisa:
THANKS….I had to work (er, fish!) today, so missed both of the boy’s calls (sorry guys), but I knew they were thinking of me just as I was of them. I miss alot when the season is in full swing. Debra got me an awesome card that sings “Unforgettable”…kinda choked me up. Happy Father’s Day to all of you, too. Nice here tonight, hope it is wherever you are, too. Love, Pete
Happy belated to all you guys!!! My Pete had a great weekend. He and Tim and their friend Jack went fishing at Fish Lake over by Wenatchee on Saturday. They had a great time and Jack caught almost all the fish (didn’t know how to fish) Beginners luck is what Tim called it. Sarah and Charles treated us to Pizza yesterday….so nice out here too…got lots of yard work done. Sorry peterC missed out on that!!! We sure do miss him around here. I haven’t been to Starbucks since he left. When we ask Giselle where he is she says “He is par par away….but he will come back”!!! She loves her Uncle Peter.
Hey Priss:
Peter does yardwork? Hadn’t noticed! We have him pretty well involved here, in fact, him and I just got done grinding up some herring and stuff for chum tomorrow. We had an awesome day….got eight nice fish, four from 60-90#, two 45#s, and a couple of others for four people. In at 3PM. I left him ther to go run some errands and he got a ride home from “Big Bruce”….you’ll have to ask him. I plan to let him find his own way home most of the time this year. I offered to set up the motorhome down there, but I think he likes to eat here. It was good tonight, but not always. Anyhow, he has hit the deck running and is doing the job quite well. The weather today was pretty perfect. All for now. Have a good week, everyone! Love, Pete
He helped his Dad get our gardens ready for planting and helped plant. He is a great help to us both, we appreciate him a great deal and we let him know that. He is great company too, loves to talk about fishing in Alaska. Go figure! I am looking forward to Duke getting to meet some of the people he chats about.
