Nathan did a great job on his Inupiat diorama. He had fun collaborating with the family. Thanks for the help.
Marina participated in a 4H fashion show at the Pioneer Home where she modeled a kuspuk I made for her.

Hey Lisa:
Great post and those kids (and their parents) are awesome. Wish I could have gotten you some of the myriad materials we have here for reference, but looks like that wasn’t a problem. That will be a nice piece of art ot add to your collection and the kuspuk, well, let’s just say I REALLY LIKE IT. Took Debra fishing today….flat calm, we each caught a king, and we fished halibut in just 100′ of water and got all but one of them. Your boss, I think, enjoyed fishing with “family” and went home with a king and two nice halibut. The captain, unfortunately, caught the biggest halibut, but Fred and Debra tied on the king salmon. Luke caught a nice 15# white king and we are having frsh salmon and halibut for dinner. I will be up tghis week sometime, so hope to see you there….most likely my last trip up until the baby arrives (you know I will fly up for a day after that!) Love, Pete

Nathan will still be interested in looking at your reference materials. He really enjoyed learning about the different Native groups. He was sure excited about the diorama. It was a fun project. The kuspuk wasn’t that hard to do, it just took some time. I would like to buy the pattern so I can make more.
I am glad Fred had fun. Sounds like a nice day to be out on the water. I hope we can make it down soon.

first time on the org for awhile. can’t remember the last time - if ever - i was three posts behind. ugh. nathan’s diorama looks terrific and glad i could make a small contribution to that…you and marina look beautiful in those kuspuks. wow! good stuff. we’ve got a few more “mountains” to climb here in the weeks ahead - cheri’s surgery is the next big thing on the horizon - but we’re looking forward to a fun summer. hugs around, love, d/gp
