Had to post this picture because it’s so cute!!! Giselle was outside digging in her Rice and beans box enjoying the sunshine!!! Can’t wait for more and more of these beautiful days!!!

Jake finished his marathon castle project last night, and scored a 99 on his presentation in class today. Once described as the “key to England,” Dover Castle is located near the famed White Cliffs. The castle is nearly 1000 years old and coincidentally, it took Jake almost that to build the model shown here. Constructed of with paper (yes, PAPER), this was was a 3D jigsaw of epic proportions. We had a nice boat ride last Saturday and even did a little trolling up the bay. As you can see, Ashton was swaddled in a life jacket for maximum safety. Dad even attached a whistle so he could signal us in the cabin from the fo’c’s’le. Mandi got to drive the boat on the way back so I’m pretty sure she had a good time. It’s been great to see everyone!

A warm and Happy 32nd Birthday to Becca Mae! She is in St. Thomas right now, so “warm” should be a “piece of cake.” Talked to her last week, and she would like to find a summer lodge job in Alaska.
