WFR08 Roll Call…
jean called last night to confirm attendees for dinner on 3/8/08. she currently has 8-10 “maybes.” of course, we’ll make room for whoever shows up, but the restaurant wants a head count - including a breakout of adults and children under 12 - so she is trying to get that finalized. i know several families are still on the fence, so as soon as you decide, please call jean - or confirm with a comment to this post - at your earliest convenience so we can let her know. i believe some - maybe all of the dinners - are prepaid…we can always add meals after the fact, but they probably won’t refund any prepaid dinners if someone doesn’t make it.
ALSO…cheri mentioned a reunion fund or account…that initiative kinda slipped through the cracks. pete and i talked about it early on, but it hasn’t happened. the MAIN thing is to make sure the garden club booking is covered, and that food is available sunday. more soon. l, j/d/gp

Jack…was thinking about Sunday food today actually. Peter bought me a nice espresso maker from Starbucks and I would be happy to bring it with syrups, coffee and creamer for that day. Are we talking brunch? I will talk to the sisters and get some ideas going there. We could get a trip to Costco organized that week before. A fund is a great idea for anything that comes up.

We will be attending. Jon, me, Nathan and Marina. Unfortunately we will not be able to bring Bingo(the dog) with us.

priss, lisa, isaac…the espresso maker would be a hit, so i say bring it along! remember, we have the garden club on saturday, too. we might want to plan a potluck snack-a-long table so we’re covered until dinner. might be smart to get a rough list together.
on the fridge front, i’m almost certain there’s one at the garden club (i recall jean mentioning that). we need to get the key to the GC on friday at town hall (the town hall is closed on the weekend). SO…that’s one possibility. AND…depending on what you have, we have a condo with a fridge on the canal just down the hill from the garden club. you’re welcome to use that, too (so long as we’re not talking a side of beef or something).
as for the fund, not sure what would be easiest on that…main thing is to get jean covered for any expenses she may incur prior to our arrival, and then anyone else who needs to be reimbursed for groceries, etc.
last, on the saturday dinner roll call, jean has a pretty good idea of who is confirmed (she read off a list that was pretty accurate)…she just needs to know now who ISN’T coming. so…if you know of anyone who can’t make it, give jean a call so she can update her dinner list for the restaurant.
