Live from Providence Hospital

Well, here we are, looks as though Sam broke his wrist. We’ll report in later. He was out playing football in the street and slipped and fell. Little stinker. Didn’t say anything about it for a while after he came in. He’s a trooper.

Now, he’s surfing on his dad’s iPhone. Kids. Love, C

Ouch! Well, at least it’s not football season and there’s time for it to heal. I’ll be heading up tomorrow to work on Ben and Jess’ for a few days. See you all soon! NOMAR is not open on Sunday, or I would pick him up a polar fleece sling. Hope it isn’t hurting too much. Love, Pete

hey pete…yeah, it’s broke, but it coulda been a lot worse. they put a cast on at prov…he’ll have to see an orthopedic doc next week to rig a permanent cast. hopefully, it’ll be easy to set, and he’ll be looking at 6 weeks (vs. 12). fortunately, it was his left wrist, though he’s a little bummed that he won’t get a a break from schoolwork. we’re heading over to jon’s and lisa’s for the game tomorrow…maybe we can catch lunch while you’re here…love, jack

Nathan is looking forward to signing your cast and hopes you can still play wii.

Sorry to hear Sam….I know you will have a speedy recovery…meanwhile can you REALLY do your chores at home? I would imagine you can’t get it wet so guess dishwashing is out….let me know if you need more ideas….I was the queen of slipping out under the table while everyone was still eating on my appointed “dish night”….Love Aunt Priss

jon/nathan…sam CAN play wii (hypothetically, anyhow), and though dishwashing is probably off his to-do list, putting dishes away is still doable! sorry we missed the superbowl at jon’s and lisa’s…it’s a GOOD ONE, eh? the giants have to feel pretty good here at the half, but the patriots are masters at making half-time adjustments…and this game they have TWICE as much time to figure it out. l, j/d/gp

    Hey Jack:
Am in ER on a neighbors wi-fi (thanks, whoever you are!) Real quick before it evaporates, sorry you couldn’t make it to Lisa’s. Had I known, I would have popped in at your place prior to landing there. Got unloaded and then watched the end of the game, so had to boogie. How about lunch on Tuesday? I have a 2PM meeting, so could head in early. Let me know, or we can plan Wed or Thurs. Will be at Lisa’s on Tuesday night for dinner. Ben and Jess and girls may come, too. See ya. Love, Pete PS: I have some king salmon for you!
