The planet, the bee, the lights…
No doubt everyone’s busy…it’s that time of year, and it seems like there are always three things to do with only time to do one of them. For my part, I’m not even doing ONE of them sometimes, and trying not to feel guilty about it. Been awhile since we’ve posted, so just wanted to catch up a little. First, welcome back Pete, Debra, Ben, Jessica, Madeline and Makenna! Looking forward to hearing about your final days in paradise…imagine you’re all catching up on the homefront after your absence.
A few things here on Lake Park…Jake did an outstanding job on his geopolitical globe project in world history and scored 615 points out of a possible 600 (which reminds me of “giving 110%” in football)…Sam went fairly far in this year’s Lake Hood Spelling Bee (note that Jackie’s chin no longer fits over the top Sam’s head)…and Cheri and I (well, mostly Cheri) have been filling our spare time with holiday prep. The neighborhood is a light-tour hotspot and decked out in its usual glory this year…probably the last year we’ll see so much incandescence here on Lake Park.
And, we’re looking forward to dropping by Lisa’s and Jon’s annual ornament-making party tomorrow! Hope this finds you all happy, warm, content and looking forward to the big day. Cheri does a hand-lettered countdown plate every day…was astonished to see “10 days!” on the plate this morning. Wow! Seems like yesterday it was in the 20’s.

Jake, you planet looks cool. Show me when we come up, eh? Jack and Cheri, Your house is always pretty cool, but this year, you brought it all together. Check the after-Christmas specials for LEDs and you could save a bunch on electricity. Sammy, You are gonna need a wall to display all the Sammy/Jackie photos! Keep up the good work. I am constantly asking Debra how to spell stuff and am so glad that she knows! See you all real soon. Love, Pete

I see you beat me by a mere minute on commenting! How is it going? The boat is in the shop, so I am inhaling some dust and fumes, but since there is not too much to fix, we’ll be back in the water right after Christmas. I am glad Sam does the spelling bee, that is so cool. I need to check out Jake’s globe a little closer next time I am over. The lights are always fabulous. See you soon.

Pete, That was nice of you to get pete some goodies!!! we have been making goodies and eating them too!!! We are to go shopping with Sarah and Sel today. He is thrilled at that prospect!!! He likes the Mall about as much as his DAD.; )!!!! Take care….Love Priss

P.S. Rene and Susan sent their annual card and hats for the boys…so nice of them. Tim is going to send some North Valley Stuff up with Peter for them next year. We will have our new stuff because we are changing over from a LLC to a S/corp in January and I’ve heard news of a new logo possibly. Will bring some up for you all too.
