Eagle River Pre-union…
Hey…it was long overdue, but great to finally make it out to Ben’s and Jess’s in Eagle River! We had BIG fun tonight…that’s a great house, and the new basement is going to be great! Some great pics…the girls took some excellent shots, too. I’ll try to get them up to the FTP tomorrow. More soon. L, j/d/gp

We had a blast. On the way home Nathan asked me if that was a party because he had so much fun. I told him whenever Wedins gather, it’s a party. It was a good time. It was great to see everyone. The girls are talking so well.

Debra and I just arrived home….my mac will die at some point, as I left my cord under the bed in ER. I will fly back up Tuesday morning and hopefully, Ben can pick me up and get me to my truck at his office. The potluck was really great….THANKS to Ben and Jess for having us all amid all the other stuff going on. The girls took awhile to decompress from all the LOVE…what a good time they had with you all. Jack, I think you made a couple of buddies there….anxious to see the pics on the ftp, but for now, your post is well, Precious! lisa, pete…yeah, that was BIG fun saturday night! we’re all pretty busy these days, but that little gathering reminds me how important – and rewarding – it is to make time for things like that. hope we can organize more of those in the months ahead, and then we have the BIG one in march…that’s not that far off when you think about it. more soon. l,j/d

That group shot is pretty excellent. Everyone is looking at the camera, most are smiling and no one looks weird. It is hard to get a group shot where everyone looks good.

For Godsakes, when have any of us looked “weird”? The group shot is REALLY good and we all sure appreciated that you all drove out to visit. Now, what are ya all doin’ for dinner tomorrow? That would be Friday and Debra and I should be on scene by six or so….any thoughts? Plan on staying in ER, of course, but maybe some of them could make it for dinner. I just spoke with Jess and she is still pretty leary of most cooking smells….maybe Ben and the girls could make a rendezvous? Otherwise, we would love to see you all and then land there later in the evening. Hope one of you sees this tonight. Love, Pete
