State Champions!
Sam’s Romig Eagles played Palmer Monday night and after a hard-fought game, the Eagles won the state championship 12-6! They finished their undefeated season with nine wins and no losses. A big THANKS from Sam - and all the Eagles - to Lisa, Nathan, Marina, Rebecca Hubbard, David Haynes, Bobbi and Josh Craig, and big bro Jake up in the booth doing another fine job on the mike…it was a cold Monday night at AFS, and your cheers meant a lot to him and the team.

Congratulations on the great win! Sounds like you had an exciting game - you probably have footage we can watch later eh?! Way to go Sam!

hey debra…yes, it was a little TOO exciting for awhile. palmer scored first and looked tough, but the eagles rallied and pulled out the win. i took some mpegs in the first half, but put the camera away in the second half…it’s so much more fun to watch without the camera. TSS photography took great pics throughout both championship games…some very cool ones of sam, and i’ll probably get a bunch of those. let us know if you or pete are coming up again soon…now that football’s over, we could even meet out there in ER for lunch or dinner. hugs around, l,j

It was a great game. Even Marina didn’t want to leave. We all had a great time. I am glad we were able to make it.
