Any of you that have fished with Pete and I know how much I depend on him to make our service what it is. He has become what I like to refer to as a “tank” when it comes to the art of being a crewmember. Other captains in the fleet know how lucky we are to have him. I dread this next couple of weeks without his help (and smile), but he has earned a good rest before going back to school. THANK YOU, Pete, for your hard work and dedication and helping me remain sane during the busy season. Hope you will consider returning. You have come a long way from this image to these from this year!

Quick pic upload on a pirated wireless connection while getting an IM inspection. We had a great time in Seattle, especially LaConner! Jean’s garden is incredible.  I’ll upload more LaConner pics to the ftp (eye-cue.com/john) later today…lotsa good reunion venue pics (garden club, dinner room, etc.). In the shot of Rainier taken from the Space Needle, you can see our hotel in the extreme lower right corner…right across from the left field entrance to Safeco…you can see the blue angels outlined there in the lower part of Rainier. Fun stuff. In the pic in front of Safeco, note that Jon’s grin is EXTRA big after the BoSox big win on Sunday. Could be M’s Bosox in October!
