Nathan and Marina had their first games on Monday and Tuesday. They both have red jerseys. Pretty cool. I couldn’t resist the classic wedin photo of a dueling photographer. I will be heading down to Homer tomorrow afternoon with Marina. I am sure Nathan is already enjoying Homer. Take Care.

While uploading pics from Jake’s first soccer game last night, I ran across this still grab from Google Earth I’d saved months ago on my desktop.  Thought the old shot of CKS was worth sharing…hasn’t changed all that much from this view, eh?  In just a tick over 24 hours, Priss and Pete will  be touching down in Anchorage.   We’re REALLY looking forward to a Homer Run tomorrow…even if it is on the chilly side, nothing a good beach fire won’t cure!  Love, J/D/GP

Almost time for the Homer mini-reunion. Getting warmer by the day…it hit 72+ here today…very pleasant. In fact, warm enough for a backyard swim at Jon’s and Lisa’s! The forecast looks good this coming week…maybe summer has finally arrived. See you all soon! Love, J/D/GP

Well, when Tee asked Sam what he wanted to do today (last day in Atlanta), he said, “GO TO THE BRAVES GAME!”  It’s a night game, so I had ruled that out…we leave here at 6 a.m. for the airport tomorrow.  But…with Sam’s promise to get packed and loaded today (so it’s just a toothbrush/coffee show in the morning), we ARE going tonight…Doug and Tee are going, too.  They’re playing the Cubs…it’ll be fun to see Lou Piniella…maybe we’ll see some dirt-kicking, base-throwing, hat-tossing in the bargain if the umps make any questionable calls.  Ha.  Anyhow, here are a few pics from yesterday’s game…it was a hot time at Turner Field.  See you all soon!  Hugs around, Love, J/D/GP

hey all…

tuesday night and kinda late…sam and i arrived this evening, and we’re headed for  a midday braves-marlins game in the morning.  cell’s iffy here and tried to email cheri…the wireless is great, but had server issues with my email program.  not sure what the problem was…might figure it out tomorrow.  anyhow, here are a few pics from our week in WV.  anne and tom are doing GREAT…wish we could have stayed longer.  we’ll call tomorrow on the way to the game.  love, j/d/gp    p.s. We are heading down to Seattle the first weekend in August for a couple Mariner’s games. I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on where we should stay that is close to Safeco field or close to transportation. I would like to do a trip to the zoo or aquarium also. I would love to have company if anyone is available. We can’t wait to see anyone we can on our trip down this summer.
