We were very sorry to have missed you Priss, and the rest of the Wedin gang. We tried our best to make it, but unfortunately we had no car. We hope you had a good visit, and we hope to see you at reunion 2008.

hey jess…the car thing sounded like a real bummer. if they’d let you know sooner in the day, we could have all just head out to ER (though that would have been an adventure with multiple soccer practices and games here in town that evening). looking forward to visiting you guys out there soon…we’ll let you know next time we’re going out to palmer…we could stop in the way out or back. have a great weekend! l,j

I was sorry to miss you too Jess…but I do understand…life happens. There is a little something at Jack and Cheri’s for the girls. I just took Sellie home today…She spent the night and we had an ice cream party with Grandpa last night. She was supposed tobe asleep but I think she knew we were eating something good….thats what being a grandparent is all about huh? Ice cream parties at 10pm. Love Priss

Don’t you mean rice dream for some of us grandparents? Well Priss, life is about as normal as it gets around here since you left. I am working today because they are setting up their helicopter operation center at Maritime. The boss called me in yesterday and there they were, twin portapotties. We have 5 helicopters parked there fighting the fire. I will try to get some photos for you.
Thanks for the great visit and wonderful company everyone - look forward to seeing Lisa and her people around the 4th - Lisa do you know the exact dates yet?
Love to you all, Debra

debra…you should get a pic of the “heli-potties” for a print ad, then the headline would be: NO ONE MEETS YOUR NUMBER ONE AND NUMBER TWO NEEDS LIKE MARITIME HELICOTERS! l,j

Wow Jack that was good!!!! Hope the fires get better Deb, that must be awful. I would love to see the pics. Yes “rice dream” does fit the bill….I actually like it!!! Bought some creme de fraiche (sp?)at Trader Joes yesterday to eat with berries….yummmmm. I am hooked now. I am going to make Cheri’s salad for the 4th, that was so delicious. Love Priss

priss…cheri would say, “DON’T ENCOURAGE HIM.” ha. and speaking of “joiner lams”…that could double as a description of young people who behave like sheep (and that explains cheri’s warning). hope you’re having a fun sunday…it’s raining here, and i sure hope it’s also raining on some of the regional “hot spots”…l,j

Jack…had a great Sunday…and yes we got rain too. Looks like we will have sun finally today. Didn’t bother me tho as I was in my office all afternoon anyway. Had a nice visit with PeterC last night. He was requesting 2 large pink flamingos. I guess I missed the tour of the only 2 “Euroasian flamingos” in Alaska….that was the first thing Tim asked me and I didn’t get it til Pete’s call last night. Guess the ones they planted on some island have seen better days. Too funny. Love Priss
