We had a short but nice visit from Jon Lisa Nathan and Marina for Nathan’s 8th birthday and we were able to get out fishing — here are some photos to share with you - :

Happy Easter to all, and Happy BD to Beccae Mae. We had a nice Easter-Birthday gathering, dinner and egg-hunt here on Lake Park. Cheri made Becca’s favorite birthday cake (pineapple upside down cake…a double decker!)…best one I’ve ever tasted. The younger kids hunted eggs, the boys played football, Marina and Tom (Hubbard) made an umbrella fort and we adults actually had some nice blocks of time to shoot the breeze. Nathan and Sam have been going to the local rock, gym to learn to rock climb. They both are doing well and have made it to the top. Here are some pictures sorry about the quality they are off my camera phone. Nathan overcame some nervousness this week to get to the top.

Well, the cherry blossoms are past their peak and the forecast calls for snow for tomorrow night, so we figured we may as well go somewhere warmer…like Anchorage. Actually, Mandi’s grandpa is in the hospital so we’re going to visit him. We’ll be there late tonight if our 50% on-time flight works out, and we’re probably staying about a week. See you soon!
