Cheri came home last night with a framed proclamation that she had been voted Boys and Girls Club Board Member of the Year. It’s a great organization that serves youth on so many levels, and this award is a real tribute to Cheri’s time and commitment to help make a positive difference for kids throughout Alaska. Captured this group of wild ones while they were visiting Tuesday for Sam’s birthday. Quite the crowd, eh? Nice that the weather is finally breaking here in Anchorage–bright, splashy afternoons and brightening, frozen mornings. Spring has sprung.
Sam is 10 today, his first day in double digits! Sam will be playing football this summer, and this photo is a small (OK, a BIG) clue as to one of his presents

p.s. we did a BD swim party at the hilton on friday night. fortunately, the boys’ room was adjacent to the pool/fitness club (i think they planned it that way). it was good fun, and nathan, sam and spencer (see first 3 l-r in group photo) went with me to see captain pete and debra at sportmans show on the way home saturday. no luck in the fishing hole, but all three boys got a few bites!
Happy Birthday Tim on March 26th and willy March 27th!!! Seems like yesterday when you two were dressing up like Ninja Turtles….looked everywhere for a picture of Will but had to settle for his proud parents!!!!
Finally, here are a few photos from our recent trip to Hawaii in January. Wow, it’s been a long time since Ben or I have posted anything, so here it goes. We had a great time on our trip. The girls loved the sand, running, playing, and being buried in it. It was fun to watch them. Ben and I took turns snorkeling, swimming, and attempting to boogie board. Hope everyone is well. We are looking forward to the “2008″ reunion and the Sportsmans Show. Hope all is well.
