Mary P-Mobile…

12549 1lynn jimmy
got a nice note from mary p this evening and thought i’d edit it a bit as a post (and upload a couple of nifty cell pics she took on her cell phone, too).

Hey….glad you like your picture…Peter and I had fun doing those…he helped pick out the mats and frames. I will say more prayers for Cheri’s dad. I just got home from a wild day with your sister……I bought tickets for “its a wonderful life” for her birthday. it was done as a live radio broadcast and was really awsome. anyway it was at the taproot theatre on 85th so we stopped at dick’s on the way home and she asked me if i wanted to see the old house so we ventured down there and as we were driving by the mercer’s we saw a guy working on his car that looked a lot like jim mercer….well it was jimmy. so we went on a tour of our old house inside cuz he had the key…the owner was in oregon. it was really something. she had extended the dining and kitchen out into the backyard a bit and the breakfast nook was gone but a lot was the same just painted and fixed up. he called lynn and she lives a couple blocks away so she came over and was crying.. ..she has been looking for me but couldn’t remember my last name. so went over to jimmy’s and visited some more. he is the same….what a character. i gave them the wedin.org so they could see pictures. and we exchanged numbers and such. it will be fun to get together…he wanted us to stay but we had to get deb home so she could celebrate with her family. anyway we both were just giddy after we left…too much fun. i really enjoyed the uncle fuzzy elf. that is hilarious…..i will go check out some more. well hope you and the boys enjoy your new years….we are having Sellie spend the night so we are excited!!! she lights the place up. Take care and enjoy………love priss

What a post! It was a if Jimmy and Lynn were here, too. Sounds like a very nice visit and a memorable birthday trip for Priss and Deb. Thanks for sharing your note, Jack, and great to see Priss on the org….the t-mobile pics are remarkably good. More tomorrow night. Love, Pete

What do I say!!!!! It may seem odd to all but tonight a piece of my life became complete! As I told Priss and Deb, I tried to find Priss but couldn’t get the last name correct and all my other “name searches” went south!! At some stage life got in the way, you know, kids and all, and I finally thought that some day, Priss may just venture by…………….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all moved on…………..we saw the house every day. I tell stories all the time. A very special time, a very special family, and most of all, a very special friend.

Thank you so much for stopping by. It may seem silly, but I think of you all so often.

Priss, you look the same. Deb, you look the same, way to young to be 57!!!!!!!

I would love to stay in touch, with all!

I’ll send photos and spread the word about “wedin.org”.

    Here come the Mercer’s?????!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Love to All!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Lynn:
It was so cool to see you and Jimmy in Priss’ e-mail. You guys look great. It’ll be good to see more photos. Ever been to Alaska? We’ve lived here since 1981 and one of our boys (we have two boys ages 30 and 32) lives in Anchorage and one near Washington, D.C. We have two grandchildren (twin girls) 18 months old. I know that Mary P and Deb really enjoyed the visit to the old house and to catch up with you two….they seemed thrilled. Well, tell Jimmy hello and Happy New Year! Pete

yeah…pretty remarkable stuff and kind of a magical reunion for mary p and lynn. who knew? i’ve driven by the old house a few times over the years, but never saw anyone out and about and it never occurred to me that anyone was still there. wanted to share with lynn and jim my reunion (after 30+ years) with pete miele last year…he is living out north of edmonds and working for washington state ferries. you can see a pic of pete on the org at: http://wedin.org/album/jack/PeteJackH2O.JPG
and, i don’t think the mercers knew the kisners (they lived up on the southeast corner of 8th 127th)…anyhow, walt kisner sold the house years ago, but still lives in seattle (and winters in mexico). anyone else from the old neighborhood still around? anyhow, great way to celebrate deb’s birthday and cap off 2006! and speaking of that, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all from lake park! look forward to seeing more of everyone on the org next year. l,j
