hey…fun pics of your TG in ER…looks like M&M really like isaac and mandi. fun stuff. the house looks great…any wider shots or exteriors? i see it’s HOT in homer today…we woke up to 2 below (again!), and it was 6 below in the sullivan arena parking lot last night as we exited the championship game around 11. ugh. your heat wave is supposed to be headed our way…hopefully, tomorrow morning will be tolerable. have a great sunday. hugs around…j

    Hey Jack,
Are you kidding!? We had trouble going outside to warm the rigs up.

Glad to hear your game came out well. Pete and Isaac headed down to the harbor to see if a fishing trip was possible. I expect them back any time now. It looks like the weather is worsening out there.

We had about a 2-1/2 hour power outage yesterday, and no solar…..Love Debra

wow. once again, my flagging faith in the daily news has been shaken. according to ADN, you were supposed to have a TOASTY day. hmmm. the bummer is, that probably means OUR warming trend is still a ways off, and may not commence tomorrow like they forecast.

as for the shootout, we saw ONE great game - a double overtime - but our teams, for the most part, didn’t fare well. marshall (where cheri’s mom was homecoming queen in ‘54) got beat all three games (we saw 2 of them)…UAA had their game against Hofstra well in hand, then folded down the stretch and lost. and…we were pulling for loyola in the championship, but they were pretty much dominated by Cal, and lost big. BUT…it’s lstill a lot of fun. sam REALLY enjoyed it this year. he and i were at the arena from 1:30 till 10:30 yesterday, and he enjoyed every minute of it (which made it extra fun for me). we sat in three different areas of the arena, so we even got a bunch of exercise.

more soon. keep us posted on the warming trend…no doubt, you’ll bask in it first down your way. l,j

    Hey Jack:
It’s been pretty wrm here all day….I think Debra was speaking of ER. We skipped the fishing trip and went to NOMAR to see Santa (no photos for us) and puttered around in there and the Merc. It’s 34 on the deck right now and it is snowing very lightly. Great to have Isaac for a bit and if the weather closes in, I may have to drive him up tomorrow, but I don’t see that in the forecast. The plane will most likely fly and he’ll be off about 5:30 AM. Well, hope everyone got some rest over the weekend and you all have a good Monday. Take care. Love, Pete

geez…forgot to check the notification box, so didn’t realize i had a reply to my comment! anyhow, was just about to post our christmas tree adventure today, but checked for comments first. glad i did. and yeah…wondered about the temps back then in homer…it was SUPPOSED to be pretty warm down there, but still very cold here. it’s into the mid-teens here today, but it was 29 at snowgoose. windy, though, as the pic of lisa in my post will show. more soon…l,j
