hey all…just a quick post…been kind of a lazy saturday morning here, and it’s time to get moving. we had a great week, and tuesday afternoon was probably my all-time favorite visit to the state fair. lisa, nathan and marina joined us, the boys both brought friends, the crowds were light and the weather - which was iffy on the drive out to palmer - turned out beautiful! also, the weather finally cooperated on thursday, and i was able to head out with our neighbor, kris paull, for a silver fishing trip across the inlet in his super cub. we’d postponed it a few times due to weather (and flooding), but it was worth waiting for…the fishing was great, and the weather was excellent. kris is a great pilot, but swirling winds along the river and a postage stamp landing area made the landing pretty exciting. well…best get SOMETHING done here (or switch the channel to the mariners game). hugs around, love, jack
