Nest Quest

happy monday to all. did a few chores here this morning on an eye cue break, and remember that cheri had asked about progress in our second nest of the season here (a robin family was born/raised in jake’s spruce tree in the spring). anyhow, i was doing a few yard chores and decided to grab a couple shots of the second nest. obviously, things are coming along…and hopefully, the cats will remain oblivious. more soon…j/d/g

    Hey! The nest news is GREAT! Nice pics, Wedin. Yes, definitely want to keep the cats–especially Rufus–in the dark on the nest as long as possible. Thanks for the update.

    Lots of pelicans, and I mean LOTS OF PELICANS down here. They are such goofy looking birds. Maybe I can post a picture here. I tried a little post the other evening, but had trouble with the pictures and lost it all.
