Hey look what Pete saw today - he had some nice folks on the boat and they caught a gorgeous fish:
He also saw a big crabber that he would like to show his brother
What do you think - it’s coated with ice!
Have a great weekend!
Pete and Debra

Hey Jack:
Yeah, NOW is the time to do that drive-by shot! There are a myriad of crabbers with and without gear AND there is ice in the harbor.
That can change daily, though. Most of the crabbers are back from the Bering Sea and getting ready to head to Sitka for the sac-roe fishery. Let the boys know I have not forgotten their milkshakes. Love, Pete

What a beautiful fish! Nice catch for those folks. I’m looking forward to a little break down in your neck of the woods this month. Debra, hopefully we’ll include a weekend day or two so you have some time off work while we’re there. Let me know if there’s anything you want us to pick up and bring down–creme fraiche?– etc.

Creme-fraiche….YES! We tried while there and came up empty. The River City Deli at the Y in Soldotna has had it before, too, but we get up there as often as Anch. Looking fwd to your visit. Will you stay with us? There are two full-size beds here and two twins and a couch. Let us know the dates and we’ll start making a plan. We went clamming today and had a ball! Yummy. Love, Pete

At the River City Deli make sure you check ALL of their cases for creme fraiche - last time we were there they had a tub in each case. The pink tubs make it easy to spot.
