Happy Birthday!!
Happy birthday to Pete and Jean. What an exciting way to wake up this morning with an earthquake! We must have slept right through it. The girls and I went to church this morning. They went to the nursery and almost made it the whole way through without crying. I think towards the end they were tired and cranky, so we went home to get a nap. Wish we could be there to celebrate. From us all here at Fairweather Dr, we wish you a wonderful birthday and lots of love.

Thanks Ben. This post beats an earthquake anyday! WOW, we really need to get up there. They’ll be off to college before we know it. Heard from Priss and Peter has decided to come up for the summer. Sounds like Tim and Pete Sr. have started their own excavating company. We’ll start thinking about next weekend as a chance to drive up, weather permitting. Guess they closed the schools up there today. Sounds slick. Hi to Jess and the girls. See you soon. Love, Grandpa

Hi Jessica-Pete had a quiet birthday, I didn’t even make him a cake because the frosting clogs your arteries. Just kidding, he had a cake for several days the week prior and he wanted something different so he made himself some creme brule.
Those are the greatest pictures! Can’t wait to see you all - the girls may be walking by next weekend!
Love to all,
Debra

Hi, We hope you do come up this weekend. It would be good to see you. Sorry to have missed you the other weekend. I didn’t even know you were planning on coming up. I haven’t been an “org” regular lately. Are you enjoying the warmer, although not so nice weather? I know I am. I think we are going to try to get a walk in today before it cools off again. Talk to you soon. Love, Jessica

Okay, I’m up to speed now…..thanks JESSICA for the post. Somehow, I thought that was Ben writing…..duh! We have been wanting to come up, but while the boat was in the shop, it just wasn’t prudent. We are in the NOMAR shop now getting a little unbrella thing over the door. Also, they are making a “harbor cover” for her which will make it easier to fish in winter and create a secure storage situation. At least all of the rain won’t go into the bilge. Hoping to be hugging you all soon. Pete

Jess, the girls look so sweet. I am so impressed that you keep a handle on BOTH of them. Have they been talking more? Last we heard, Madeline said, “Mama.” Wasn’t the air fresh and mild today? I put on my yak traks and went outside to exercise this morning. What a treat after that cold dry weather!

Cheri, Madeline did say “Mama” for about 4 days, then nothing. I know she hasn’t forgotten…maybe she got board with it. I thought I heard Makenna say mama a few times, but I’m not quite sure. Today we went to a twins group that we’ve been going to for quite awhile. It’s fun to see all the other twins. Madeline and Makenna were really playing around with some of the other kids. We also went and looked at a few houses. We’ve been looking for a while. I’ve been going to open houses on the weekends and doing to drive-by’s on the weekdays. If you know of any houses with a nice back yard in the Anchorage area we’d love to hear about them. All for now. Hope all is well. Wasn’t today beautiful (well, most of it)?
Love, Jessica
