   Well, if I had brought my camera home from the boat, I could show off one of the biggest feeder kings of 2005! A 38# white came over the gunnel today and went home with a very good friend of mine. Was a great trip….eight kings in all and Debra and I had fresh rockfish and we have a king for tomorrow. We are going tomorrow to start the New Year correctly and then probably pull out on Monday. Life is GOOD! Best of luck to everyone in 2006 and hope that this year promises more visits and further strengthening of our family. Love, Pete

   sounds like the perfect way to cap off a great year! we finished off the last package of your smoked salmon (thanks again for that), and we also cracked open that jar. wow. it was really something…best canned salmon i’ve ever had (and i think cheri would second that). we had fun at the hockey game, but the aces lost for the first time in 17 games…tough way for them to end the year, but it was an exciting game and they almost pulled it out at the end. we just got back from jon and lisa’s…took the fireworks over there and had a little show in the backyard…it was as much fun to watch the kids as it was the fireworks. we toasted the new year, and now we’re back at lake park waiting for the ball to drop (about 10 minutes from now). have a great first cruise of 2006, and we’ll see you guys soon. love, jack
