Been a little quiet on the org lately, but it’s been a busy year for all of us and I think everyone’s wrapping up ‘05 and clearing the decks for ‘06. Isaac’s made a lot of improvements to the site this year, including a new masthead and a more user-friendly format. I’m going to try out a new pic loader with this post and see how that goes.

Sure nice to see new folks in posts and comments lately…hope that’s a trend that grows in the coming year. Also, it’s going to be hectic here tomorrow so wanted to get in an early HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEB! seems like just yesterday that deb relished the next few days of being as old as me…for the next few days i think i’m going to celebrate being as young as deb. ha.

We all had a great Christmas down on the Peninsula. Mom and Dad made it up to Doug and Linda’s place for dinner and the festivities. Just wanted to take the time before I went to work to wish everybody a happy holidays.

We’re headed over the Wedin-Burpees this evening for a Christmas Eve gathering, and just in case we don’t make it back to the org before tomorrow, wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Also, wanted to share a couple more Snowzilla pics…I might go back and fix that previous groupzilla shot, too…it was really dark, and I think it may have made a few of you think we have a darkness issue here in Alaska during the winter. So…after seeing and hearing about Snowzilla in the morning paper, evening news AND in an email from Cheri’s folks (they saw it on the news in WV), we decided to see this monster for ourselves. Like the Grand Canyon, pics don’t do it justice, but here are a couple more just for fun. Beautiful day here on Lake Park…fresh skiff of big flake snow and the smell of homemade fudge. It must be Christmas! Also I learned this morning that this iBook has speech capability, and also take voice commands. Wow. Guess I better get the book out and read past the “Getting Started” section. Hope this finds everyone warm, happy and content…Love, j/d/g
