Sure was fun having everyone over. The pictures turned out great. Seems like these days an event is over till sam is in costume. We started breaking out the christmas stuff and may head out to palmer tomorrow to scout/cut a christmas tree.

hey, that was a GREAT dinner…the table was beautiful, and really fun to have all the kids at the same table with us! jake and i just got back from the 2 pm shootout game…UAA vs. southern illinois. the seawolves prevailed (wahoo!) and those seats cheri got on e-bay are incredible! they are on the floor, front row…right behind the team bench…definitely jack nicholson-spike lee type seats! highlight of the game: the seawolf mascot stopped and shook hands with me…not sure why…might have been my asaa sweatshirt. ha.

Hey, it looks like a good time….would have been fun to add six more bodies to the mix, but when Ben and Jess were willing to bring the twins down…well, that sealed it! We had a good time with Jess’ folks and sister here. The girls were great and have come a long way. We went out in the blizzard and did a little shopping and it was fun to show off the grandkids. Surprising how tough fishermen melt at the sight of a couple little girls. The Gear Shed was definately a fun stop. Had coffee at Captain’s, went to Homer Jeans and Timeless Toys, too. The 20% off sale was good. Well, hope to see you all soon. We’ll be up to visit and/or attend the North Council meeting in a week or so. I have a chance to go hunting on the 5th, so all bets might be off until I get back from that. Take care and have a great weekend. Love, Pete PS: The “from above” group shot is definately a nice improvement!

pete…the shopping itinerary is worthy of a chamber of commerce pitch. i’m hoping to make my traditional one-day trip in december, or - maybe - we can all make it down for a weekend. that’d be great fun! the “from above” shot was jon’s idea…he positioned cheri’s camera on the cabinets in the kitchen there, and framed up a great view. wish we’d got the TG spread…the dinner setting was great. oh yeah…the camera location (accessed by a step-ladder) qualified for an olympic event in terms of taking a timer photo. the run to the table after tripping the shutter involved some extracurricular tripping that made getting into the shot a real challenge. i barely got back to the table as the flash went off. made for some good pre-photo entertainment i guess. let us know when you’ll be up…be fun to schedule a dinner, lunch or other get-togethers. l,j
