Happy Thanksgiving to all! Above is just a sample of what we’ll be devouring later in the day. Priss, had never thought of making a raspberry pie until our vist with you. Yes, I mixed in an egg …. We’ll see if mine turned out as tasty as yours … and if the egg “scrambled” or not in the mix … :-O How about the Homer Thanksgiving Wedins? Did the twin power make it down? It’s a beautiful, snowy day here. Lisa, Nathan and Sam are skiing over to our house. Hope everyone is happy, thankful, and later on, very full.

i think this photo helps fill the void from missing martha stewart’s show last night. ha. happy thanksgiving to all! we’re headed over to jon’s and lisa’s house in a bit…looking forward to a great spread (including one tomorrow in the vicinity of my waistline). lisa, nathan and sam skiied over from their place a bit ago…great fun, and very holiday-like. sam wore lisa’s high school ski boots and isaac’s high school skis. wow. the boys just finished hot chocolate with an extra boost of whipped cream just for fun. it’s snowing, and we’ve definitely got the winter wonderland thing happening here on lake park…hate to shatter the tranquility with the snowblower, but it’s about time (or we’ll never get out of the driveway). a warm and happy thanksgiving to all, love, j

I sure enjoyed the ski over there. Jon the turkey in the over, potatoes peeled and Marina and I have been doing yoga. We are looking forward to our first Thanksgiving at the Scarlet Place house.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! By now the dishes are all done and the soups is ON! Doug, Linda, and Jana just left for home….hope they have a safe journey. It howled all day and it hasn’t let up yet. The girls were very good for their first Thanksgiving and Berkley and Precious got a few tidbits. We realy had just about everything a person would want and after dessert we found the rather large veggy plate and ranch dip in the fridge….untouched! Whoops…actually munched on a few after the pie. Got a group shot there….had to laugh at our clumsiness on that! had several with the guy pushing the button missing. Finally got it right and Debra posted it. Need to get one of those nifty short tri-pods like Jack has. He IS the master of the group shots. Okay, take care and enjoy the leftovers. Lisa: we got the new rug, so we’ll send the other one up with Ben, unless you are planning a trip down. They came in the Honda, so we’ll have to tie it to the top. Love, Pete
