The whole family went out for pictures yesterday. The girls have been staying busy, they are very close to crawling. Jess and I are not sure we are ready for that. Hope to see you all soon. Love, Ben

great pics…my favorite is the 4 a.m. shot…that’s a pair to draw to for sure. looking at the “favorite toy” shots, they look like they ARE crawling, so it’s probably time to batten down the hatches. yikes. are you guys headed for homer this week? if so, have a great trip, and if weather prevents that, we’d love to see you and the girls on TG at jon’s and lisa’s. either way, let’s plan a get-together soon…i think we’re all virus-free here, so no worries on that score. love, j

Well, just got to look at the post and hands down, it is “sailor girls” for me. Awesome! Spent the day up and down a ladder trying to get a chimney installed in my friend Boop’s new house. Still missing a couple parts and a trip up a 10/12 pitch roof to complete the mission. Anxious to see you guys and thanks for the photo “teaser”, but if the weather is lousy, don’t take any chances. Mike and Bette showed up yesterday in a snowstorm and we had a nice visit. Ashton is a charmer and quite the gentleman. All for now…dinner is on! Love, Grandpa

Ben, thanks for the great photos. Can’t wait to see you all in person next week. Hope the weather holds for us.
We talked to Isaac and Mandi tonight, it was nice. They will be having a Thanksgiving dinner at home this year.
Well, take care and see you all very soon.

Just have to say … that’s a lot of sunshine in the 4 am photo! What a couple of cuties. There’s a lot to be thankful for this season, eh?
For our holiday meal, Lisa said she’s of the philosophy that people should make and bring whatever food makes it Thanksgiving for them. So I’ll be making pecan pie, deviled eggs and sweet taters (with marshmallows, of course). I’ll miss sidestepping and dodging Homer Wedins during the food prep in the kitchen this year.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for good weather.
Love, C

PS. I made that last comment–and this one, for that matter–while at the dentist’s office waiting for Sam’s appointment to wrap up. What a wired world we live in.

He C! That’s cool that you are multitasking right at the dentist office.
Thanks for the Thanksgiving Ideas - I forgot about the deviled eggs - they are a festive touch and come in handy when everyone is waiting for the Piece de Resistance. (Thought I would throw some French in in case Mandi is reading this)
Love you all,
Debra

You crack me up! I will really miss you this year. Just seems like it’s been one thing after another and no good visits in between. But that’s just the way it goes sometimes.
