wanted to post a couple more pics from our seattle trip…the group shot was taken at lunch with the newtons in tumwater, and the other at the seahawk game last sunday. looking forward to thanksgiving at the wedin-burpees this week…happy thanksgiving to all…family is one of the things we’re most thankful for this and every year. love, jack, dad, grampa

debra…well, it was a bit of a challenge to work out a rendezvous with the newtons, but totally worth the effort! they’re in the middle of a big remodel, and couldn’t make it to gold bar for the saturday gathering. so, the day we left, we scooted down to tumwater and had a great lunch at that place by the falls across from the old brewery…it was fun to catch up a bit, but like all our visits with family, it would have been nice to have more time. as for the face paint lady in the background of the seahawk pic, she was – relatively speaking – a total stranger. she was pretty mild in terms of fan attire…we had a shirtless ram fan a couple rows in front of us, and we were surrounded by seahawk fans (“fan” being short for fanatic) of every description. and speaking of jean, i was talking to her (insert twilight zone music here) when the email notice of your comment came in. she and dorraine just got back from the big island…sounds like they had an absolutely wonderful time. would have talked longer, but today was my day to take sam to school, so had to break off after a half hour (which made it a two minute conversation in wedin-world, eh?). last, cheri really enjoyed the running commentary with you on the org yesterday…i read that, and it was like…like an actual blog! fun stuff. more soon. have a very happy thanksgiving…we’ll be thinking of you. maybe NEXT year we can all get together. and, what IF we all went to seattle for thanks giving next year? just a thought. l,j
