Hey Jon and Lisa: Of course we would love to join you for Thanksgiving dinner, but we are waiting to hear where the girls will be dining. Either way, am sure we’ll see you guys over that weekend to mop up some leftovers. May see you tomorrow, depending on the weather. Am trying to get out today with five for halibut….yeah, right! We’ll probably be hiding behind the island most of the day. Take care and thanks for the invite. Will the kelpers be joining you? Pete

jon, lisa, and thanksgivers everywhere…as you know, we’re on for TG. in fact, we’d thought about going to seattle for TG, but re-scheduled that trip when you confirmed TG at your place. we’re really looking forward to it! we’d be happy to bring ANYTHING, so let us know. we could even bring the turkey (insert your favorite one-liner comeback here)…anyhow, that’ll be big fun, and a nice kickoff to the holiday season. also, any interest in the shoot-out? be fun to take in a couple of those games if anyone’s interested. l,j

I guess our latest on the Thanksgiving front is that Ben, Jess, Madeline, McKenna, and Berkley MAY come see us for turkey, so we are reserving our Thanksgiving for them. Would love to be there with all of you, but maybe sometime soon. Can’t say I’d wish today’s drive on anyone, but save for some 40 MPH through the pass, it was uneventful. We barely made it back to the rental car place to miss out on the additonal charges, so happy to say we timed the good-byes just right. Sorry we missed getting together with everyone, but hugging the little bundles of pink was the priority! The fish got delivered and hopefully on it’s way to FBX and a fundraiser for Alaska Outdoor Council. See you all soon, as we will be needing to come buy a car soon. Love, Pete

Guess it will just be us turkeys over at Scarlet on the holiday. Anybody besides me want marshmallows melted on top of their sweet ‘taters?
