Greetings from Seattle!

I don’t have any pictures (I know others do) but I thought I’d check in. It was awesome to see Uncle Fuzzy and Aunt Debra this week. I didn’t have to work on Sunday so I was able to go to the BBQ at Aunt Prissy’s house. It was great to hang out with the family. I haven’t seen anyone for a while. Not much new with the Miller family. Willy is out of his cast and back at work. Mom, Dad, and I are back in school now. Hope all is well with everyone.

Love,

Katie

hey katie…really great to see you on the org! sounds like pete’s and deb’s visit is going well…we’re looking forward to seeing pictures soon. i just got back from driving jake and one of his friends to school…they normally take the bus, but i give them a ride about once a week. he’s a freshman in high school this year… it goes by so fast, huh? sounds like everything is going well with you guys…we’re overdue for a trip to seattle, so maybe we can wrangle that in this year. we’ve talked about trying to get everyone together for a mariners game…maybe we can figure that out for june ‘06. gotta get back to work…thanks for the post, and we’ll look forward to seeing you on the org again soon. l,jack

    Hi Katie,
It was great to see all of you, and hang out at your Mom and Dad’s house. Pete put some miles on after I left, and I missed getting to see everyone in Olympia. But I was getting tired anyway. We old folks (except for Pete) can’t keep a good pace like we used to.

Precious was really happy to see me. She may be a nicer cat now.

John, July would be better July 21-23 Red sox vs Mariners.

jon…after the mariners’ performance this year, i was thinking a series with the devil rays or royals might give us a better shot at seeing the M’s victorious. ha. j

Katie it’s good to see new blood on the org. Jess and I ahve been bad about posting lately because we have been busy looking at property in Wasilla. The girls are doing great, Jessica is putting them to sleep right now. Sure was nice to see my Dad tonight and hear all the family news. I think he had a great time. He said he was tired, but he sure got to do some great visiting with the family. Anyways good to see all the posts.

    Love, B,J,M,M&B

ben…any luck finding what you’re looking for out there? any specific areas you’re interested in? we need to get out to snowgoose, but it seems like we’ve got something going here in town most every weekend. i’d like to do a little clearing and firewood stocking before the snow gets too deep…it’d be fun to rendezvous out there sometime if it worked out. l,j

Hi All….Thanks to Katie for the post and getting all of us to comment. It was GREAT to see everyone is Seattle and thanks to all of you for the hospitality. I hope to see your place on Capitol Hill next visit, eh? Lunch at Coastal Kitchen is still on. Best of luck to you in school and work this Fall. Hope Willy gets to transfer to the Albertsons he wants…sorry to have missed Jacque, but maybe next time we’ll make it out to Cafe Ladro in Edmonds (we brought some home with us, thanks to Deb). The BBQ at Mary P’s could only have been improved by the Olympians making it up, but hope to see the results of the Sunday photo shoot soon. Thanks, Priss for the salsa and corn…we’ll all enjoy your thoughtfulness. Isaac and I really had a nice trip to Oly….thanks Ericka and Kurt of the place to crash and the fine meals. Was fun to pick berries with the boys and Ericka in the backyard and we’ll enjoy a nice blackberry pie here from there. Markay and Garry, thanks for the jam…it has been shared far and wide. Kurt, your tuna is awesome. Haven’t tried the elk yet, but look fwd to that. You were all great and thanks for understanding that we were just trying to pack allot into a short time. Please come visit us sometime and stay awhile. The dream of a real family reunion is still alive among us and once we get past a few obstacles, it’ll happen. Take care. Love you all, Pete

We got some of the jam. We started on the raspbery jam. It is wonderful. It is sweet but not so sweet that I can’t taste the tartness of the raspberries. Nathan is very particular about getting the freezer jam. We have about three kinds in the frig. That is his favorite.
