Happy Birthday FOTO!
hey isaac…now that you’re living in the city of POTUS, i thought i’d send a warm happy birthday to FOTO (Father Of The Org)! i went back through the archives a bit this morning…it’s pretty amazing how far the org has come in just a few short years. i still have nightmares about “WIKI” (Weird Incredibly Komplicated Inputting), but the 2005 edition of the Org is a lean, mean blogging machine! our family is blessed to have this cyber-reunion at our fingertips, and thanks again for all your time and hard work to make it simple, easy and fun to stay in touch. a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY from the lake park gillian-wedins…love, jack

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I’m hoping my doctor gives me a late birthday gift Monday and tells me my shoulder’s healed enough for more activity. Since I’m mostly 2-handed again I’ll be working on a couple of updates to the site soon - if anyone has any suggestions or ideas I’d be grateful.

isaac…the org has come so far, it’s hard to think of ways to improve it. the only things i can think of would be refinements to what’s already here. so, here are a couple thoughts: first, is there any way that the recurring events could appear on the home page as they occur? i think most of us go to the org daily, or we check in periodically and review posts back to where we left off. anyhow, it would be great if recurring events would auto-post on their respective dates. second, i like having an ftp location for extra pics…is there any way we could incorporate an ftp site into the org. that way, we could post one thumbnail, then load extra pics at the ftp for anyone who’s interested (you could put a one week time limit on that, so it didn’t get overloaded).

Happy Birthday Isaac! I hope you shoulder is doing better. I am sure it is difficult to clean the cat boxes one handed.

Thank you for thinking that Isaac would be cleaning the cat boxes, but luckily for him, those are off limits. Unfortunately for the kitties, I am not nearly as diligent as Isaac, but life goes on! -m.

Isaac, First Happy Birthday. As for additions to the org…. I was thinking a password protect part for info we don’t want the whole world to have i.e. address and phone numbers. Have wanted to pass along our new info, but I was leary of posting it. Jon
