First Trip

We went on our first family trip last weekend. We were hoping to make it to Homer, but Soldotna was far enough. Everybody had a good time and enjoyed the change of scenery.

    Hey Ben, Jess, Madeline, and Makenna:
    GREAT to see and hug you all on Saturday. Special thanks to Doug and Linda for hosting us all and offering such a wonderful meal. It was the best day off ever! You two are doing such a great job ….wish we could be more help and when possible, we will be. Ben, that post really hit home….I am totally verclempt! Busy here and we miss Isaac and Mandi already. They did arrive home fine and are adjusting. Was so fun to have them here….wish the circumstances had bneen different, but we’ll take you all any way we can get ya! Looking fwd to seeing you and the girls soon again….they are SO precious. Hope Jess is getting some relief and we are all happy to have you home for a bit longer Ben….good luck on the interview.     Hello,
    It sure was great to be able to get some more hugs in - they are starting to pay attention to things around them, besides who Mom is anyway. They are sooooooo sweet.

    We sure miss Isaac and Mandi, but Precious, my cat is back to being more loving and sitting on our laps again.

    Isaac and Mandi said their cats were so happy to see them after all this time!

    hey guys…great pics! we’ve been unORGanized lately…lot going on, but we have checked in at the org…just no time to comment or post. looks like the girls’ first big trip was a real hit! that’s quite a journey for them right now! soccer season is finally over…jon, lisa, becca and the kids are mostly settled in at scarlett…back-to-school is up next, but work is settling down a little and we’re looking forward to a fun august, including another visit to see our new nieces. post soon! l, jack
