Birthday Barbecue Bonanza…
hey…
a big THANKS to ben and jess for hosting last night’s wonderful birthday barbecue gathering! the grilled array was exceptional, and everything was cooked just right! in the midst of a very busy week and weekend, it was great to see that everyone could take and make timeto get three generations of family (including two soon-to-arrive additions) together for a fun and memorable celebration!
looking forward to issac’s and pete’s group shots. this is the best of the two i took…everyone looks great!
i’ve got the kids this afternoon, and am hoping to con becca into accompanying me on the venture out to the fishhook property and maybe a quick run up to hatcher pass. thought i might be fun for nathan, marina, sam and jake to see how close they might live one day soon. more later if i actually DO manage to mobilize the troops (who are currently immersed in playstation). ha.
best get after it today. hope the show, the sportsman show and everyone else’s day is a good one…weather looks great, and spring is definitely springing. also, i’m mounting a few additional shots at the ftp location (www.eye-cue.com/john)…included there will be half of the birthday singing AND ben’s candle destruction (the mpeg is titled, “A Mighty Wind”…no connection to the movie).

We had a great time also. It was fun to have the celebrate the birthdays as a family. It was a mini reunion. We came back to much less snow and a lot more dog doo. I had better get back to work.
