Hi All & Hai Karate!

interesting weekend underway here at lake park…fun to have jon here for a few days, and always good catch up on the latest burpee-wedin plans and doin’s. the org has been great recently…fun and informative. also, got an email from mandi on her treo during the first (and 4th) quarter of a wizards-grizzlies game (that’s pro basketball for non-nba orgers). anyhow, it was pretty amazing…real-time score updates, and also a note on pete and debra who had courtside seats at the game. very cool.

sam and jake both passed their tests and advanced to the next belt rank in karate last week. sam is now an orange belt, and jake a blue belt. it’s a great program, and the emphasis on manners, respect and self-discipline is a welcome complement to the karate itself.

we may try to hit the final day of the sled dog races tomorrow…beautiful weather today, and the final heat should be fun.

going to be a busy couple weeks here as we get ready for our st. patrick’s day departure for kauai. not sure how much posting we’ll be doing between now and then, but we’ll definitely be dropping in daily for the latest posts and comments.

hugs around…love, jack

p.s. talked with an associate who works at one of the telco’s here, and they already support the treo here. meanwhile, they are launching a cdma product here which is supposed to be the latest-greatest in that arena…only three markets currently feature it (anchorage, san diego and washington, d.c.). interesting.
