Costume Party
Hello -
It has been a bit since we posted pics from DC, but I thought that you might enjoy our costume party pics from last weekend.
The theme of the party was People as Art; Isaac and I went as Alfred Stieglitz
and Georgia O’Keefe. ![]()
At the party we had a surprise guest, an artist who painted peoples’ faces. ![]()
Happy org’ing. -m.

Looks like fun, like Isaac is really enjoying himself. Like the brooch.
Love you guys!
hey…great to see you guys back! the party looks like fun. cheri and i are just headed out for a local production of “bat boy”…supposed to be pretty good.
these pics remind me (for a reason you’ll see later) of your christmas present from us. send your address, ok? i think we have it somewhere, but…
anyhow, i saw a derek jeter interview on espn last night…he was wearing what we got you for christmas. no kidding. cheri picked it out. ha. jack
also, i’m not getting org notices again…at least not for this post. not sure what the deal is. might be on my end. more soon. looking forward to answer on recent emails…couple things in the hopper. jack
I will have to show these pictures to the kids. Nathan was telling us the other day about how Isaac left us but we still had Aunt Becca. We are looking forward to your spring trip.
I think I have heard of Georgia O’Keefe, but who is Alfred Stieglitz. Am I the only one? It looks like you guys had a good time. Hope all is well in D.C., we’ve had a busy last few weeks. It will only get busier.
I had to google him. He was a photographer around the turn of the century who fought to get photography recoginized as an artform and not just a scientific curiosity. He took lots of cool pictures. oops found more, he married Georgia O’Keefe and forege one of the great american artistic partnerships.
i am glad that you saved this picture because i wanted to see isaac. tiiiiiiiiiiiiiii mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmiss yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
