Identical Twins
It looks like we are having identical twins. The radiologist dictated my ultrasound and the results are in… I have one placlenta and two babies, so that makes them identical. I will have a more detailed (2 hrs. long) ultrasound with the perinatologist in a couple of weeks. Everything from the first ultrasound looks well. I’ll leave you with a pregnant picture. I don’t look too pregnant now, but I will

well, jess, that’s very exciting, but let’s get our priorities straight! you just set the record for wedin.org comments on a post by a landslide margin! i believe the previous record was 6 (held by several org posters)…i’m not sure how - or IF - anyone is going to top 14.
ok, just kidding…that’s very exciting news. identical twins are pretty darn fascinating, so it will be great fun to watch them grow in the years ahead. fun stuff! and let us know when you’re feeling better…be fun to meet you and ben for one of our friday night dinners. l,jack
That is so cool. I have a good friend in North Pole who has fraternal twin girls and they are a lot of fun. Their names are Jordyn and Justin. Let me know is you need or want any baby clothes or stuff. I have a lot of girl things. You could name baby A, AnnA and Baby B Bebe.

Most likely, Jon might want more. Not that being pregnant and giving birth wasn’t a lot of fun but I think it is his turn. Who know’s what life has in store?
Isn’t that just so true. Who knew I would be a Grandmother of twins and cat owner all in one fell swoop. I never thought I would be either one! Maybe we can win a prize on this posting too! Any thoughts, Cheri?
hmmm. when i first saw this post earlier today, the pic was not there yet. wow. i agree with debra…hard to tell you’ve got a solo there, much less a duet! as for debra’s question about a prize for posting, i am now working on isaac to consider playing a few bars of “viva las vegas” any time we hit double-digit comments. no doubt he’ll respond with a few lines from “hit the road, jack”…

Well. I gotta chime in here….this is so fun having activity on the org. Way to go Jess (you too Ben). Precious went outside with grandpa today….about hurt me getting her back inside! It was so nice here! We got the port engine fixed and will try her out tomorrow. Yep, goin’ fishin’! You know, there’s a whole different attitude being a grandpa to be! Love you all…keep up the stream, because we are all in this together! no way i’m passing up being the second orgin’ donor to hit double digits. ha! i’m turning the sound up just in case isaac has programmed the wrigley’s double-mint jingle to play when i upload. meanwhile (and i think it’ll be a LONG while before that happens), i just wanted to comment on how fun the org has been this recently. i don’t know whose turn it is to get pregnant next, but obviously that’s the magic ingredient to get things rolling. also, had a quick note from dan (jr.) indicating he would be posting soon and including new pics of family and ella! that would be another milestone. fun stuff!

spooooooooky. actually, i just noticed that this morning, too (the “anonymous” signature). i think settings may have changed, because i’m almost CERTAIN that i used to leave comments (without furnishing my name), and “wedin54″ would appear automatically…also, the font on those signatures is really TINY. it didn’t used to be. anyhow, while i sometimes don’t “sign in,” i’m not trying to be anonymous…

Pete is out fishing today, which is good news, he had a head problem (on the boat you people) and got that fixed….he has ONE in the BOX! So already a good day…..take care!

Well, it’s nice to see such a wide variety of dialogue going on. I’d like to be the first to break the 14 comment record, so here it goes…#15. Identical twins…or not. Well, I spoke to a physician who will now be following my pregnancy and she said there is only a 60% chance that the babies will be identical because sometimes it is hard to see everything in the ultrasound. Only time will tell. Either way, we are about to be blessed with two little miracles. Just thought I’d share that. Hope all is well. Ben and I truly appreciate everyones love and support.
The more indepth ultrasound should tell you a lot more. I had one with Marina and it was fun and reassuring. I loved being able to feel the baby and see exactly what they were doing at the same time.
so…i scrolled down through the latest postings and was amazed to see that THIS one has netted 16 comments. wow. and, it occurred to me that it’d just take four more (three after this one) to hit 20! at that point, isaac will HAVE to cue some music. or not.
