Looking forward to Summer

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am sure looking forward to summer. Here is a picture from last August on the arm. In other news, Jessica is in Oregon visiting her Grandmother and I have my finals week next week. Good to hear from you, soon to be, grandparents (you know who you are) this morning. Hope to see all of you soon. Love, Ben

Wow, “soon-to-be-grandparents”….guess that one is out of the bag and general knowledge, eh? WAHOO! Can’t tell you how proud and excited this soon-to-be is! Should be a fun time for all of us (and lot’s of work). Good luck on the finals and bachin’ it this next week. Would be grrat if you make it down next weekend…..we will go fishin’ if the weather allows. I know Jack was talking about coming for his annual shopping trip (Homer missed him last year) on the 20th. Maybe you two should coordinate? All for now. Working every day trying to help this couple get through their final inspection on the 20th! Good for a charter guy that has no clients! Love, DAD (and soon-to-be-GRANDPA!)

    Hi Ben,
I just have one question. Is there anyone out there that has some advice for a soon to be Grandparent? What does it entail? I spoke to Slim Gale today, and he had parent advice, like get a dozen of those snap in the crotch undershirts in small and larger sizes, he said they really are nice. He also said that never let your kids say they are driving you crazy because kids are naturally curious and they want to see what crazy is like.

Ben it was great talking to you today, nice to know that you and Berkley were having a laid back day. Hope Jessica is having a great time down in Oregon and ignoring the mild weather and looking forward to getting back to the inclement weather she is used to here in Alaska…..take care and talk to you soon.. Love Mom
