Ho, ho, ho-lympia! Sounds like the news is out and about on Christmas this year, but wanted to pop it into the org, too: Saturday, Decmeber 11th, Kurt’s and Ericka’s house. Ericka mentioned that they just got their computer up and running, and that she’d post further details as they’re available.

Also wanted to share that Anne and Tom will be here October 19th through November 4th. Hope this finds everyone well. Busy here. Back to it.

Just got back from a week in the bahamas. Left on a sailboat from Miami and made the crossing to Bimini 45 miles of rough sea. The next days were great calm seas good diving and lots of sun. Here is a picture of a miami beach sunrise and one of me diving. I will be posting more pictures later on http://www.burpeefamily.org

I am sure you get tired of our subjects from here in Homer, but there really isn’t anything else to do around here that I can see…..so here I am with a bad hair day but nice fish if I may say so…….

the sun is actually shining at the moment, and it’s darn near 50! pretty nice after a week of drizzle and dreariness. been a catch up weekend here…non-stop laundry, bikes in the shed, leaf raking, snowblower tuneup, and so on. anyhow, nice to have a warm, fall day to celebrate.

cheri really enjoyed her pkg from fairbanks, especially the nice homemade cards. fun stuff. the scarf was a huge hit, and the hat was a welcome complement…did lisa make that hat? pretty cool.
