Five Days of Winter
Hey All:
Got back to Homer in fine shape. Was a whirlwind trip, but great to see everyone. Was good to talk to Jack today, but our schedules just wouldn’t meld. Thanks so much to Lisa and Jon for having us up to see what is in store for all of us soon. It was clean and white there in Fairbanks. Was fun to see Isaac and Nathan on their skis and we all learned that Lisa’s MPV DOES have ABS! Actually the weather there was quite pleasant, and we all had a good time. As usual at family gatherings, there was plenty of action in the kitchen and we really enjoyed dining with you guys up there. Debra is feeling better with some help from Isaac on food choices. It was great to see a family, young and old (guess we were the “old” in this case) living and working together with care and love for one another. Well, back to work here tomorrow. Wind and rain and hail welcomed us back to the peninsula this afternoon. All the plants lived and the new fridge (which we picked up in Kenai) is now in the house awaiting installation.
Just to confirm with everyone…..we are up for having Than ksgiving here. As far as I know, Mandi is already planning on it. We’ll start looking at lodging arrangements as soon as we know who all will attend. It will be FUN! There’s more beds than ever here and I can check with Eileen up the hill or the Alaska Suites if we need more room.
All for now….Lisa, thank you! You are a spark plug and keep that smile! Love you all, Pete

We enjoyed having you guys up to the frozen North. We can’t wait to see you some time over Thanksgiving. Did you guys see the eclipse tonight, it was pretty cool.
Hello Lisa! No eclipse for us, rainy and overcast here. You were lucky. We sure miss you all already, I have photos in and will be posting soon!
Debra
It was great to see you. Looking forward to Thanksgiving, especially since the temperature’s dropped about 20 degrees since you left. I hardly took any photos but I’ll see if I’ve got any worth posting.
