been awhile since i’ve uploaded. for some reason, i didn’t get the usual notice of a new entry (mandi’s latest)…or, maybe a accidentally deleted it in an early-morning spam ejection session. speaking of mandi, saw betty yesterday at costco…pretty hectic there, and we were both “on a mission” but nice to catch up briefly…

wow. where did august go??? just kinda flew by here, and now it’s almost time for school to start. yikes. we’re headed for the copper river princess lodge this morning for a two day “research” venture. should be a nice end-of-summer break, and it’ll be nice to actually experience one of the lodges we’ve been promoting the past couple seasons. plus, we haven’t been out that way in well over ten years…should be fun.

tim’s visit was really fun…the boys, especially, really enjoyed having him around. i think the summer with captain pete’s was really good for him…he was brimming with some new-found confidence and fitness.

gotta run! enjoyed mandi’s post, and safeco looked REALLY good. i could watch a DOG SHOW in the park and enjoy it…wait, the mariners ARE a dog show this year. oh yeah, melvin’s gotta go…he’s a nice guy, just like jimmy carter was a benevolent president, but neither quite had that element of leadership that qualifies them to man the helm. he’s OUTTA there (i hope).
