Upgraded…what do you think?
I finally upgraded WordPress from the ancient version we were using, so you may notice some changes. This mostly affects the posting area, so log in and take a look around. If you see anything broken, ugly, or just plain confusing, please let me know.
I’m thinking about messing around with the public view of the site next, so I’d appreciate any suggestions you’ve got. Are there any web sites out there that work really well? Any cool features you’ve seen that we should have here?
Update: If you have trouble logging in, try clearing out your old cookies. If you’re using Internet Explorer in Windows you should be able to do this from the Internet Options control panel.

Well, the first thing I noticed was that I couldn’t login! This happened once before way back when and I don’t know what we did to fix it. I used my login user name and password as I remember them and got nowhere. Will get organized and post some pics from our gathering if we can get there to the posting area. Am sure Jack will be contributing as well….he took a nice group photo. All for tonight….thanks for calling. We all enjoyed talking to you. Wish you guys had been here. Love, Dad
isaac. well, i’m still limping along here with explorer 5.1. i think that’s a problem with the new org config. i just posted, and it shows very briefly, then gets covered by all the links (which appear justified left under the masthead). i have to scroll down quite a bit to get to the posts…for some reason, my latest post is “covered up,” i assume by the links. anyhow, i tried 4.5. no luck. i’ll give netscape a whirl, but don’t expect that to work either. thoughts? maybe i’ll bite the bullet and get the new computer.

isaac…so, weirder yet, this works fine in a old (old!) version of netscape. though i can (and should!) upgrade my explorer browser (which pretty much requires a new mac at this point), i wonder about others on older pc’s and macs (and possibly older browsers). is there a way to ensure compatibility with a wider range of browsers and keep the upgrades and modifications you’re incorporated? i like most all of the improvements you’ve made…and i’m sure it works really great with a new explorer. jack
