Update coming soon
Hello -
Isaac is working hard on an update to wedin.org, so there will be some changes coming soon. For those of you who do not like change, too bad. No really, the update brings improvements to the site.
Happy 4th of July to the Wedins and associated clans across the country, the world for that matter.
We are planning to go downtown to deal with the large crowds of tourists, ‘heightened’ security, bag checks, and the slow deteriation of our civil liberties in order to watch the National Fireworks on the National Mall. Perfect activity for the celebration of our country’s freedom. We may just watch the passel of gluttons on tv at a bbq at a friend’s house on Capitol Hill, as it is pouring rain, thundering, and lightning today.
Isaac and I are going to be moving soon. We are going to move out of the District into a nearby suburb, preferably Bethesda, which is where I happen to currently work. We will publish our new mailing address as soon it is determined.

hey mandi…just now sent an e-mail to markay pushing wedin.org. maybe the new changes will make it even easier for novices! sure would be fun to see some posts/pics from the northwest clans.
wow. what a great venue for the 4th. sounds like big fun. we’re doing a quiet barbecue here at home…heading for homer in the morning for a few days, so we’re taking it easy today.
the move sounds exciting. looking forward to seeing pics of the new place. you guys feeling a little more rooted there now? just curious.

Hey Mandi:
Good to see your post. We took Lisa, Nathan, Nina, and Tim (and Debra. too) to Seldoivia where we ate our way through twon! Did the early blue-berry pancake thing, then walked and walked our way to the beach and did the tidepooling. I started a little fire (Ibarely) and got yelled at for it! Put it our EASY! Then we wandered back for the parade and ate turkey legs, dogs, and BBQ ribs with rice. Then we had ice cream. Somewhere in between there we had lattes and chai tea at the Buzz. Was fun, and then did a little rockfishing on the way back. Will post some pics when Debra gets home. Tim and I are watching the kids while Debra and Lisa are shopping…..they may be awhile! Looking fwd to the Lake Park Wedins visit….will be fun! You guys take care and we sure hope the new improvements include more participants….love you guys. Dad
I hope that everyone is enjoying the ‘end of the road,’ it is always a great place to celebrate, and it sounds like a great group.
Wow Pete, that sounds like one of our trips to San Francisco — we eat our way through the neighborhoods. We did that in New Orleans, for that matter!
