the annual lake park sleepover was a hit…in more ways than one. sam got sucker-bonked with a “cannonball” entry by one of the boys through the door of the tent (sam was just inside the door). pretty good head-to-head collision…sam had a bloody nose, lost a couple points on his IQ, and still has some swelling around eyes and the bridge of his nose. yahoo…

much cooler today, high overcast. it’s actually pretty welcome after yesterday’s heat wave. hope everyone’s had a good weekend. cheri talked to her folks this morning…it was about 10 degrees warmer here than back there yesterday. . . pretty unusual for june! hope this overcast extends up to fairbanks today…imagine you guys would love some relief, too.
