Happy Father’s Day!
hey…
we saw tim briefly before he headed to homer for a summer of deckhanding with captain pete. we all had breakfast at village inn, then tim and i - thanks to some great weather - made a top-down miata run to soldotna where we met debra for the final leg to homer.
we stopped at big game alaska on the way down, and saw moose, bison, caribou, sitka blacktail deer, bear, elk, owls and an eagle. it’s improved a LOT since we were there a couple years ago…anyhow, the grounds are much-improved, and there’s a nice gift shop, too.
on the way down, tim and i discovered that we like a lot of the same music, including kansas. he shared his kansas greatest hits cd which we listened to on the final haul in to soldotna. i liked it so well, i picked one up at fred meyer down there, and listened to it most of the way back to anchorage.
we’ll look forward to seeing tim on our next visit to homer (july 5-6-7)…till then, smooth sailing!
happy father’s day to all! we had a great time here…just took it easy, watched mariners win and then a leisurely hike out at kincaid park…
more soon…

Happy Father’s Day! We are some really hot days up here. I am trying to stay as still as possible. Today we are going to the lake, Should be a little cooler there and we will have the water to cool off in. Take Care.
Hey guess what Pete wanted to do for Father’s Day. We went out and got 4 kings with our friend Slim and Tim got some practice filleting. Then Tim had his first real charter yesterday, it turned out to be a 1/2 day due to weather. Sorry Lisa, your friends got blown off! Happy belated Dad’s Day to Jon!!!! Love Debra
