Summertime…and the livin’ is…crazy!
hey all…
hope everyone’s summer is off to great start. hard to believe that the first REAL day of summer isn’t for another week! am attaching a pic of sam during his first-ever soccer game…he did a brief stint as goalie, perhaps his technique here contributed to the brevity of his net-minding. ha.
big week ahead…jake is in the B&G challenger program, so he’ll be having outdoor adventures every day. i’m supposed to go on a fly-in trip to the deshka with one of our neighbors…hope that works out, since we’ve just about exhausted jake’s king from the last homer trip. then, tim christian comes in on friday…we’re planning to have him here for the night, then i’ll run him to soldotna where we’ll rendezvous with debra for the run to homer.
cheri’s sister, teresea, arrives from atlanta on july 2. we’re planning another trip to homer on the 5th and 6th…maybe an extra day, too, if we can figure out accommodations for a third night. maybe we boys can just pitch a tent in pete and deb’s yard there…couldn’t find a prettier spot, eh?

Hi Sam, nice photo! If you can believe it, I used to be able to do the monkey bars when I was your age……Look forward to seeing you all down here in July!

Looks like Sam’s stretching, getting ready for a big save. I think I saw Barthez doing the same thing just before he saved Beckham’s penalty kick Sunday.
