Jazz Fest in New Orleans

Mandi and I went to Jazz Fest in New Orleans last weekend with a bunch of friends. It was fun, more crowded than I like, but the music was great. We stayed in the French Quarter, and spent most of our time there when we weren’t at the festival. The food at the festival wasn’t very good (for me at least), but we made up for that with some spectacular meals at restaurants. My favorite was at Restaurant August, where they prepared customized dishes for me after hearing about my diet restrictions.

We’ll probably go again next year, so if anyone is interested in joining the party let us know and we’ll get ahold of you when we start planning.

I’ve posted a few photos from the trip in my photo album. I’m still digging through so more may appear later.

Thanks for the photos, Isaac. I want the yellow scooter. I think that would be a hoot around here in the summer. I can imagine the food was a challenge and am glad you found a cooperative restaurant. You never know….maybe we can join you next year, but there is getting to be allot of activity around here. Talk to you soon. Dad

on another note, i had a few thoughts on enlisting new participation at the org. when you have a few minutes, let me know and i’ll send along my ideas. meanwhile, how many folks are actually signed up and registered…that’d be good to know. more soon…jack
