Mandi and I went to Jazz Fest in New Orleans last weekend with a bunch of friends. It was fun, more crowded than I like, but the music was great. We stayed in the French Quarter, and spent most of our time there when we weren’t at the festival. The food at the festival wasn’t very good (for me at least), but we made up for that with some spectacular meals at restaurants. My favorite was at Restaurant August, where they prepared customized dishes for me after hearing about my diet restrictions.

We’ll probably go again next year, so if anyone is interested in joining the party let us know and we’ll get ahold of you when we start planning.

Hello! I finally got some photos transferred (sucked) from the camera to the computer and resized so they will be able to fit on the org. So here are some of them:

We hope everyone had a egg-citing Easter. We did even with ham as the main course. Yuck! Luckily they had an excellent roast too. We went out to a friends house. There were 11 kids their so it was super fun.

Hello, it’s been about a year since we lost the old dog, so thought I would send up a reminiscent photo of him. This was when Lisa and Jon and Nathan and baby Marina were visiting at the $100 trailer with the $1,000,000 view. Roy covered her darling little outfit with dog hair.

By the way, we are watching Precious while Ben and Jessica enjoy a vacation in Hawaii.She is doing cat things, getting up on any surface that is up, such as the counters and refrigerator. She got into her cat food and over ate and threw up all over upstairs. Pete doesn’t know it yet. Aren’t animals great!

Hello Everyone:
With Spring every year comes the Great Alaskan Sportsman Show. Debra and I travelled to Anchorage on Wednesday March 31st and set up our booth, which we’ve done since 1995. It’s a fun show and we meet new clients and also greet lots of folks that we’ve had the pleasure of taking fishing or hunting over the years. We premiered our new king salmon mount there and it was a hit.
